Cleveland is home base for Katie, whose path into DJing started in an unexpected place: the swing dance scene. Back in 2011, she began spinning for dancers throughout the Midwest, a hobby that slowly grew into a career that carried her across the country and eventually into Canada and overseas.

As opportunities arose, Katie expanded well beyond the dance floor, taking on weddings, parties, and events of every kind. She's spent over a decade as an independent contractor for events ranging from 50 to 1,500 guests, working alongside some of the industry's most high-end venues along the way. Two years ago, her path crossed with Jaime's, and Katie officially joined The Energy Producer team — bringing with her a reputation as the group's room reader, energy balancer, and vibe curator.

As a DJ, floor planner, and vibe and aesthetic coordinator, Katie still lights up large-scale dance events, but her expertise doesn't stop there. She's also a DJ mentor and instructor for dance DJs around the world, and currently serves as an event planner and lead at Gordon Green.

Katie's mission is to craft a truly curated experience at every event she touches, all while uplifting the DJs coming up behind her. Grounded and lowkey as a person, she lets the music do the talking, trusting the energy of the room to build itself once she's behind the booth.
