The Memory Maker

Mario Beverly

A Kent, Ohio native, Mario's road into event entertainment started with a Facebook post. Eight years ago, a friend from his acting school shared that a company was looking for dancers who weren't afraid to get out on the floor and move. Mario showed up, and the gig turned out to be a Mitzvah for Harold Rivera's daughter — a full NYC Broadway-themed production that completely changed how he saw the industry. He was hired on the spot, official as of his own birthday that same year, and hasn't left the business since.

Along the way, Mario — known to many as Rio B — sharpened his craft with companies like Rock The House, Imaginos, and Realpopfusion, building a reputation for reading a room instantly and getting absolutely anyone moving, no matter their age, background, or how reluctant they looked walking in. Give him five minutes with the most stone-faced guest at the party, and he'll have them cracking a smile — if not busting a move of their own.

These days, Mario brings that same energy to the Cleveland Guardians hype team, where he's showing up for two crowds at once: the kids and fans in the stands looking for a genuine good time, and the kid he used to be, who never got to experience moments like these growing up. His talent hasn't gone unnoticed off the field either — he's been named Best Actor at the Chi-Town Multicultural Film Festival and was a 2024 nominee for Best Actor in Cleveland.

Mario's mission is simple: create long-lasting memories for everyone he crosses paths with, and leave every event a little better than he found it. His energy runs high-intensity with a healthy dose of silliness — the kind that turns a good event into one people are still talking about years later.
